Mediterranean & Black Sea Network - Visibility, dissemination and multiplier capacity

MBSN strengthens the visibility and outreach of Mediterranean initiatives by connecting projects, institutions, businesses, experts and citizens through high-impact communication, media engagement and multiplier networks.

Through its flagship initiative, Circle the MED Forum, MBSN has developed a strong dissemination platform that combines events, policy dialogue, media visibility, thematic campaigns, photographic documentation, video content, press outreach and stakeholder mobilisation. This enables sustainable development initiatives and EU-funded projects to reach audiences beyond their immediate partnership and to connect with decision-makers, public authorities, business communities, academia, civil society and the wider public.

MBSN's visibility activities are designed not only to communicate results, but also to multiply their impact. By presenting project outputs, good practices and cooperation opportunities through Circle the MED sessions, media coverage, interviews, articles, newsletters, social media and public events, MBSN helps transform project communication into long-term capitalisation and uptake.

Over the years, Circle the MED has generated a rich archive of photos, videos, interviews, press articles and media references, demonstrating its ability to attract public attention and create visibility for Mediterranean cooperation themes. Coverage by television channels, newspapers, online media and specialised platforms can be used to amplify project messages and increase the recognition of participating organisations and initiatives.

MBSN's multiplier capacity is based on its broad Mediterranean community, including more than 5,000 participants from institutions, businesses, public authorities, research organisations, civil society, networks and EU-funded projects. This community allows MBSN to disseminate targeted messages, mobilise relevant stakeholders, support policy and business dialogue, and create follow-up opportunities for cooperation, replication and transfer.

Our visibility and dissemination capacity includes

  • Press releases and media articles promoting project results, policy messages and stakeholder initiatives.
  • Social media and newsletter communication targeting Mediterranean audiences.
